Reviving the Love for Quran Among the Ummah
The Quran Department of Eemaan Foundation was established to promote Quran memorization (Hifz) among Muslim youth, instilling discipline, devotion and a deep connection with the Book of Allah from an early age. It aims to teach Tafseer so that students not only recite, but also understand and live by the profound messages of the Quran. Through structured programs tailored for children, youth and adults, the department strives to make quality Quranic education accessible to all.
At the helm of the Quran Department is Maryam Peerbaye, a distinguished Quran expert and Hafidha who has memorised the entire Quran, embodying the living tradition of its preservation. She is certified in six Qira’at (including Hafs, Duree, Bazzee and Warsh), with her recitations verified and approved by Masjid Madina Munawwarah in Saudi Arabia, ensuring the highest standards of authenticity. Holding a BA in Usool ud-Deen from Mediu University, she combines strong academic grounding with practical expertise. Under her guidance, students learn the Quran with precision, correct Tajweed and a profound sense of spiritual depth.
